Hello, I'm Leslie!

Background

Originally from the Bay Area, I currently reside in sunny San Diego working remotely full-time as a UX Designer. I graduated from UC San Diego in 2019 in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Design & Interaction. However, I am no stranger to coding! I have a 3 year background in computer science before switching to design.

Passionate about

I found design much more satisfying knowing that I'd be able to make a bigger impact and influence on user-centered issues. As a natural problem solver, there is nothing better than improving something that would help make someone's life better! Having grown up in a low-income community, I want to give back and help those who also face the same struggles as I did. Today, I love designing for all types of users, but feel best advocating for accessibility and access in underrepresented communities.

I enjoy going to the gym at 5am, hanging out with my cat, learning new recipes to cook, journaling, trying new food places, hanging out with my friends, and going to concerts!
